Kudos to Apple

Last night I found myself FaceTiming with my cousin for about 2 1/2 hours. Now usually we would just text each other like most people do now days, but we were actually talking to each other. I found it so different, because I normally just text people and while doing so I don't see or hear their reactions to what Im saying like you normally would when talking to someone

When apple came out with FaceTime came out in 2010 I thought it was pretty cool, but it was just like Skype so I didn't think it wasn't anything special. Though since 2010 I have bought more Apple products that have had FaceTime. I didn't realize how great FaceTime actually was until last night. Apple is a very big company and a lot of people I know have iPhones meaning they have FaceTime. So I could FaceTime most of my friends no matter where they were and not worry about them having a Skype.

I also realized how great FaceTiming someone is. My cousin lives in Baltimore and I don't get to see her that often, but over FaceTime I can see her anytime I want. We can talk face to face on our phones or laptops instead of flying 2,500 miles across the country. 

I applause Apple so much for this great tool. Though I feel that this tool can do so much more. Maybe we can integrate it into schools so students can learn about life in other countries or if kids are sick at home they can just FaceTime in. I think we can make this app become so much more than what it currently is.
